In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

In peace let us pray to the Lord for the whole people of God in the Philippines and in the world, Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

Lord God, heavenly Father, we come before you as sinners who have transgressed Your commands, often seeking our own pleasures while overlooking the needs of others. In your mercy, we ask that you would forgive our sins and incline our hearts to fear you and our minds to delight in your commandments. Guide us continually to love You above all things and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

You rule the nations of the world. Give wisdom to all who rule this land including the president, Congress, the judiciary and all national and local government officials, that they may serve You faithfully and obey your commandments. Help them to promote all that is good and right and to prevent and punish what is evil that our ways may be blameless in Your sight. Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

For those who will conduct this upcoming Barangay and SK election, specifically the Commission on Election that they may serve you in fear and reverence, grant them competence and wisdom, that they may work on behalf of those they serve. Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

For all the candidates of the Barangay and SK election all over the land, give them the desire to serve their constituents with all honesty and integrity. Guide them in their decision making that all they think and do will be beneficial to the people they serve and in the end will renown to your glory and honor. Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

We pray for our teachers and government employees serving as Election Inspectors, that they may be protected from all harm and danger, that they may also protect the integrity of the election process, give them the strength and the energy to serve in this fundamental and significant political exercise so that in the end their duties may be dispense with fruitful result beneficial to nation building. Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

We pray for the Board of Canvassers that they may get all the elections returns without defect or blemish from the different areas of the country. That they will be able to tabulate the votes in all truth and honesty. That the winners may be proclaimed as the one chosen by the people and those that were not will concede peacefully. Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

We pray for the over-all peace and order throughout the land especially on the very day of the election on May 14, Bring an end to conflict, terror and violence, and foster your peace among us, let everyone possess the heart of sobriety and give us the spirit of forgiveness towards our neighbor as you have forgiven us that all may enjoy the peace that comes from you, Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

Mighty Lord, you hold all things in your hand, and You know the limitations of our power. Protect those who protect and defend us, especially the men and women in our armed forces. Guide us so that we may honor the sacred gift of life from conception until the end of this earthly pilgrimage. Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

Gracious Lord, there are many in our world and community who are in need. We pray for those who are poor, homeless or hungry among us, that you would grant them all that they need to support this body and life. Open the hearts of all who are blessed with more than they need, that they would be generous toward those in want. Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

Finally we pray for all the Filipinos living here and abroad, that you make us a nation of peaceful people, give us the unity and the desire for peace and prosperity, bless our land, Make us good citizens, and give to us good government in our cities and towns. Restore us in all righteousness that in all things that we think, say and do will be geared towards serving our neighbor that all may live in peace and safety and enjoy all your blessings, Lord, have mercy, hear our prayer.

Into Your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in Your mercy, through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
